I am heading up to Burdekin Dam Falls on the weekend and intend having a look at the campgrounds. I will get some pics and let everyone know what its like.

Well we drove up to the dam today for a look around. Drove up through Ravenswood which has some nice places to look at for an hour or so and a couple of nice looking pubs. Once we got to the dam the camp grounds there are quite nice with all amenities including powered sites, Laundary, showers, toilets and even a swimming pool.

There is not a lot of shade up there and if you have a boat on top of your camper then you will be in a bit of trouble as the boat ramp is about 2klms from the camp ground and there is no camping on the foreshore.

Would be a nice place to stop for a night or two.
