Hi everyone!

My name is Dave Thompson and I'm one of 2 racers in Wotflight's Race Around Australia Competition http://www.wotflightozrace.com/?refid=IMP262 starting on Monday 19 April at Brisbane Domestic Airport.

It's a bit like the "Amazing Race" - I have to get to 10 landmarks around the country and then race back to Brisbane. We don't know which landmarks are on the list yet, but I have to go to every state and territory. I also know that all landmarks will be within 30km of the airport. As soon as I get told the landmarks I will post them up.

I haven't been to many places around Australia outside of Brisbane, so I was wondering if anyone out there had secret local knowledge about the best ways to get around town, any nightmare traffic areas to avoid, any transport services that are always delayed, that sort of thing.
