Hi Everyone - just joined today. We have recently moved to Sydney (my husband and 3 sons). We have just bought all the camping gear and were interested in camping in areas on the south coast of NSW between Sydney and Jervis Bay (my Dad has a place there).

Just wondering if any one has any recommendations for kid friendly places? We do have a four wheel drive (but don't like taking the really rough tracks).

Hi Carly! I am a new member too as of today...

the South Coast has sooooo many great camping spots, my two favourites are :

-Seven Mile beach in Gerroa: has great facilities for camping, caravans and cabins, right on the beach as well and great for kids.

-Lake Tabourie camping ground: just south of UllaDulla, also right near the beach and very relaxing location.

Hope that helps a bit! We (my husband and I) are actually looking for some new family friendly camping gear, what kind of tent did you purchase?
