Default hello from the watson family

hey everyone thanks for accepting me into this forum

my family and I am about to undertake a trip to cape york in 2 1/2 wks we consist of me and my wife 32yrs old and my two sons 4 and 2 1/2yrs we hope to be away for approx 35 days depending on kids of course i have been preparing for this trip for well over six months and we hope to do many more trips around Australia so should have some good experiences to share.

I have been fortunate as a kid to be dragged all over australia and NZ behind my parents sometimes kicking and screaming no doubt but now fully grateful to the gift they gave us.

must of been a real challange with 4 kids.

I hope to be able to offer my family a similar experience.

I am hoping to tap the experince of many of the forum users over time for advice and please feel free to contact me with any ? on our local area if anyone is travelling this way.
We live in Boyne Island Central QLD if u have never heard of it, it is near gladstone or 100km south or rockhampton.

we have a 2009 pajero which is a lease vehicle fitted out with all sorts of goodies and travel with a tinny and tent at this stage.

once again thanks and look forward to communicating with many of u.

Hey Watto welcome aboard the site. We did the Cape in September last year with a camper trailer attached to the 80 Series Landcruiser. Are you going up the Old Telegraph Track or the Pensinular Development Road. Are you travelling alone or with others. I have a few pics in my album for you to have a look at. If you want anymore info let me know.
